Transportation:  Convention and Jefferson-Jackson Celebration participants are encouraged to use public transportation. The Wasatch Front commuter rail train, FrontRunner, begins running April 26 from Pleasant View to Salt Lake City.  The new TRAX extension, connecting FrontRunner passengers with the established TRAX lines, will also begin that day.   FrontRunner fares are transferable to TRAX light rail and bus service. Parking:  The Salt Palace Convention Center has two covered parking areas for a total of 1055 parking stalls. The covered parking areas have elevator access from the garage to the facility. Parking at this facility is charged at the rate of $7 for a full or part of a day.
